  • Engelsrufer and Herzengel jewelry

Our Engelsrufer and Herzengel jewelry is made of 925 sterling silver in three processing variations: white rhodium, rose and yellow gold plating. All sound balls are made of brass and coated with a special hard varnish. Inside there is a chime that gives each ball its own, individual sound. Selected pieces of jewelry from our collections are also available in real gold or can be individually made in 9 or 14 carat white, rose or yellow gold. Your piece of jewelry can contain additional materials such as zirconia, natural power stones, Preciosa crystal, glass, ceramic, semi-precious stones, freshwater pearl, synthetic pearl, shell core, steel, enamel or satin. The Engelsrufer Vintage line also contains marcasite stones. All bracelets and necklaces in this line are made of rhodium-plated sterling silver, while the areas refined with marcasite are oxidized. This gives them their characteristic, antique finish. Each piece of jewelry is made by hand, so the shape and color may vary slightly. The rhodium layer and plating protect your jewelry from tarnishing.

925 sterling silver is much softer than gold and therefore more susceptible to scratches and blemishes - often unnoticed in everyday life. Just like your body, your jewelry can react to environmental influences. Depending on the humidity, carbon dioxide and sulfur content of the air, body sweat, perfume, skin cream or other chemical influences, silver jewelry can oxidize. Direct contact with water and solvents should therefore be avoided.

  • guarantee

The terms of the two-year guarantee from the date of purchase apply if, contrary to expectations, a technical defect should occur. Please note that no guarantee claims can be made in the event of improper handling, wear and tear, damage due to accident or other external influences.

Reasons for complaint are: the ball has no sound, the color is flaking, the stone has come loose (not broken), the clasp on necklaces and bracelets does not close correctly or does not hook properly, the wire comes loose on pearl necklaces or the goods were delivered defective (complaints must be made within three days of receipt of the goods).

When making a complaint, please always send the purchase receipt or the Engelsrufer certificate with stamp, signature and date of purchase. From the day of purchase, your Engelsrufer or Herzengel piece of jewelry will be repaired free of charge within this two-year period. If this is not possible or a repair is disproportionate to the purchase price, we will exchange your piece of jewelry for an equivalent product free of charge. Custom-made items cannot be exchanged.

  • Care instructions for your Engelsrufer jewelry

Cleaning: Avoid harsh cleaning agents. To remove dirt, sweat and dust, use warm water and a soft, lint-free cloth.

Cosmetics: Always put on your jewelry after applying cosmetics such as perfume, hairspray or sunscreen, as these can damage your jewelry.

Evening routine: We recommend that you remove your jewelry before going to bed to protect it from abrasion and damage.

Avoid direct exposure: Do not wear your jewelry when doing housework or gardening, playing sports, taking a shower, sunbathing, bathing in salt or chlorinated water, or using a sauna.

Storage: Store your jewelry in a dry, cool place. Humidity causes silver to oxidize more quickly. Ideally, store it in a jewelry box, a cloth bag, or wrapped in soft cloths to avoid scratches and abrasion.

  • Care instructions for Engelsrufer watches

We recommend that you handle your Engelsrufer watch carefully. To ensure that your watch lasts a long time, you should follow these care instructions:

We do not recommend using any cleaning agents or soap to clean your watch. A soft, lint-free and slightly damp cloth is sufficient to remove dirt, sweat and the finest dust particles. The cleaning cloth should be treated like a silver cleaning cloth or similar without any additives.

Avoid using soaps or other chemicals that may damage your watch. Chemicals, solvents or grease may cause discoloration or damage to the case and bracelet.

Engelsrufer uses the finest Italian leather for watches with leather straps. Leather does not tolerate moisture or humidity. Ideally, you should make sure to keep your leather strap dry, otherwise it can become stained and brittle.

Extreme temperatures will shorten the life of the watch battery. Please avoid exposing the watch to extremely high or low temperatures.

Please never operate the crown underwater. Pulling it underwater can cause moisture to enter the case. If water or moisture forms under the glass, we recommend having the watch checked professionally. Water can impair or destroy the function of your watch.

  • Water resistance Engelsrufer watches

Your Engelsrufer watch is 5 ATM water resistant. You can also find this information on the case back of your watch and it has the following meaning:

BILD Waterproof 5 ATM (bathing, washing hands, showering)

The watch is tested for water resistance up to 5 bar, which corresponds to the pressure of an assumed water column of 50 meters. This makes it perfect for everyday use such as bathing, washing hands or showering. Please note: A watch can only be used while swimming if the water pressure is 10 ATM or higher.

Water resistance is not a permanent condition. Regular wear and tear of the seals or improper use can affect them. A regular water resistance test is therefore recommended every time the battery is changed.
